Condition grading guide

At Holloway Darts, we believe in complete transparency. We sell quality pre-owned darts at a fraction of their retail price, carefully inspecting every single set. Explore our grading criteria below so you know exactly what to expect when your order arrives.

How we grade and inspect our darts

Every set that passes through our Dagenham workshop undergoes thorough assessment before being listed online. Here are the answers to our most common grading and condition queries.

What condition grades do you use?

We categorise our darts into three transparent tiers:

  • Grade A+: Mint condition, practically indistinguishable from brand new.
  • Grade A: Very good condition, showing only minimal, barely visible signs of handling.
  • Grade B: Good condition, fully functional with standard cosmetic wear from previous play.

Which specific parts of each dart do you inspect?

We inspect every critical component: the barrels for surface integrity, the grip patterns to ensure sharp traction, and the points to verify they are secure, straight, and properly seated.

Do sets include original flights, shafts, and cases?

Wherever possible, original flights, shafts, and packaging are included. If any original accessory does not meet our high standards, we replace it with brand-new equivalents before shipping.

Can I see close-up photos before buying?

Yes. We take high-resolution, close-up photographs of every individual set from multiple angles, so you can clearly inspect barrel grip and condition prior to purchasing.

What if I am not happy with my purchase?

We offer a full money-back guarantee if you are unsatisfied with your darts. Simply get in touch and we will make it right.

Why buy second-hand darts from Holloway Darts?

Buying pre-owned allows you to access premium, match-ready tungsten darts and accessories at a fraction of high street prices, backed by our honest grading and dedicated service.
